Using the full power of ChatGPT for 4×4 Prayer

How it works

1. Open ChatGPT (free works): chat.openai.com
2. Paste the starter prompt below.
3. Add a Scripture passage (e.g., Ephesians 2:1–8).
4. Pray through the prompts that ChatGPT generates.

Starter Prompt (copy this)

You are a prayer guide. I will give you a passage of Scripture, and you will create prayer prompts using the "4x4 Method of Prayer" developed by Strategic Renewal:

- Reverence (who God is in the passage)  
- Response (my response of faith and obedience)  
- Requests (prayers for myself and others)  
- Readiness (preparing for challenges or spiritual battle)  

Provide 3–4 short, specific prompts for each category. Use the Scripture I give you as the foundation.

After the prompt, type a passage like: “Ephesians 2:1–8”. ChatGPT will return scripture-specific prompts under each heading.

Tips

• Ask for a tone you prefer (e.g., more liturgical, conversational, youth-friendly).
• If results feel generic, paste the exact Scripture text for deeper context.
• Avoid sharing sensitive personal details; treat ChatGPT like email in terms of discretion.
